Your wedding,
painted live.
While your photographer captures the moment, I capture the feeling - live, in oil, in front of your guests, finished by the time you say goodnight.
The Experience
A painting that didn't exist an hour ago.
You'll pick one photo of the two of you. I'll set up an easel at your ceremony or reception, and paint it live, start to finish, while your guests watch it come alive around you.
It's part art, part entertainment, part heirloom. Your guests get something to gather around besides the bar. You get a one-of-a-kind painting of your wedding day — and a video of everyone watching it happen.

How It Works
Three steps. One heirloom.
You choose the shot — send your favorite photo at least two weeks out or we plan one day of.
I paint it live — on-site, real time, wet-on-wet.
You keep the moment forever — a one-of-a-kind painting, plus video if added.

The Artist
Hi, I'm Andrew.
I've spent years around fine art, including inside a museum, where I've watched what actually makes people stop in front of a painting. It's rarely the most polished piece in the room. It's the one that still has the artist's hand in it. That's the whole idea behind what I do at weddings: I'd rather give you something a little unpolished and completely alive than something safe and forgettable.
Every canvas at your wedding is painted by hand, on-site, in whatever time the day gives me, no projectors, no printed underlays, no shortcuts. Just oil, a brush, and the two of you. I'm a father and a husband myself, and I take that seriously: this is my own family's trade now, built one wedding at a time, and every painting gets the same care I'd want if it were my day on the canvas.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the painting look exactly like the mockups I've seen?
Not exactly — live wedding paintings are loose, expressive, and created in real time. If you want a more detailed, refined piece, the Studio Finished Piece add-on gives you that polished version, completed after the big day.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As early as possible — wedding dates fill up fast, especially in peak season. Reach out as soon as you have a date and venue locked in.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. Travel within 40 miles of Columbus is included in the price. Longer distances are welcome too — just ask for a travel quote.
Can you paint both the ceremony and the reception?
Absolutely. Many couples choose to have me paint through both — see the Ceremony + Reception pricing above.
What happens if the weather or timing changes on the day?
Live painting is flexible by nature. I'll adapt to schedule changes, indoor/outdoor moves, or weather delays — my goal is to capture the moment however the day unfolds.
